Chinese Water Deer at the Great Fen

The Peterborough is home to a number of the UK's mammals. Since March 2025 the following have been seen: Otter, Badger, Hedgehog, Red Fox, Grey Squirrel, Water Vole, Stoat, Weasel, Roe Deer, Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac Deer multiple times and some giving good views for photographs.

Great Reed Warbler at Ouse Fen RSPB Reserve

  Great Reed Warbler at Ouse Fen RSPB Reserve Today we headed slightly out of the Peterborough area to the Ouse Fen RSPB Reserve to see a Great Reed Warbler along with a fair few other species including Bittern, Crane, Marsh Harrier, Hobby and really good numbers of Reed and Sedge Warblers.
